Mango, Blueberry And Lemon Smoothie

I am quite proud of myself. I seem to be building quite the smoothie repertoire. Check this out guys.


Okay. So if you have been reading my blog, you will know by now that balance is key. Realistic balance.

As amazing as you will feel cutting out gluten, dairy, coffee, sugar, alcohol and who-knows-what-else, that is just too difficult to maintain. There are way too many nice restaurants to try. And pizza. There’s pizza. Pizza is just so good. And wine. I mean who doesn’t love wine! And social events, one after another. So don’t beat yourself up if you feel you’ve “slipped up”. You have to enjoy life and enjoy all things in moderation.

If you’ve fallen off the bandwagon a little, here’s a nice blend including ingredients that will improve your metabolism, help you feel fuller, produce healthy gut flora, reduces bloating, absorbs more vitamins and minerals and will boost your collagen. You buying in yet? Check this out.

Mango Blueberry Lemony Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 10 oz of unsweetened vanilla almond milk.
  • Big handful of frozen mango.
  • Big handful of frozen blueberries.
  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein.
  • Juice from half a lemon.

Preparation instructions:

  • Add everything to a blender and blend until smooth.

What is your favourite fruit? What about your favourite protein flavour (and/or brand)? Any suggestions are welcome. I will make sure to try them out and put together new smoothie recipes as summer fast approaches!
